A few months ago I mentioned about one of my girls having a few health issues.
She had several test done to try and get an answer why she felt the way she did.

Miriam has been hurting in her colar bone a lot lately. They swell up and cause a lot of discomfort. She also tends to sleep a lot or suffer from insomnia.
There would be nights she would be up really late trying to fall asleep. Then there would be days she could sleep all day. Literally all day.

Anyhow she had several test done. Lab, xrays ect.
The results were as follow, she had a low, below average Vitamin D level and her thyroid showed something abnormal. I'm not really sure what it was.
From this we were told we might have to take a trip down to childrens hospital in LR to an  Endocrinology clinic.
Having issues with her thyroid was that last thing we expected. I never heard of something like that in young kids.
We were lucky that they endocrinologist (sp) in Rogers will see her since she is 12 already. She has her appt on the 9th of Feb.

I been doing some reading and some stuff just sounds scary.
Which I'm sure she don't have any of.
Even tho some of the symptoms she has are almost alike.
I always thought heavy ppl only suffered from their thyroid problems but I was wrong.
Apparently this is common in kids and a lot more common in teens.

I can't help it, I'm worried. I guess that's part of being a mom.
For now all I can do is pray for positive results.

Still here

Well I'm still alive and I'm still here, I really need to get back into blogging.
I will start doing this more often.

The kids really keep us busy. If its not with a school activity, a game, concert of some kind its here at home.
We have also been trying to make a huge decision. I will share details later. We are not getting divorced or separated everyone assumes when they hear something like this so I'm just throwing it out there.

OK on with my post...
Raul turned 15 a few weeks ago. YES 15! We couldn't believe it has been 15 years already. Its a bittersweet feeling. He is a great young man. We are so proud of him.
Raul got accepted into the law academy and Shs which means he is a bulldog. We are excited he decided to join the academy. Also he is doing wrestling for SHS. He had his first match 3 days after he started practicing. He had to join late since he couldn't attend practice till his transfer was signed which was done on the 4th of Jan.
He is also doing football off season training at shs. He is suppose to start track & field at Sw next month.

Our oldest girlie will turn 14 in 2 days. Daddy is not ready for his girls to grow. I love to tease him.
She is so excited to turn 14 bc that makes her closer to 15.
She is already talking about her quincenera. That happens when she turns 15. We start planning this a good 5-6 months in advanced.
Araceli is such a sweetheart, we are so proud of her.
She is still doing band and choir she enjoys singing, the band part she is still a little unsure if she will do it again next year.
Shes not athletic (she gets it from me) she says she gets her exercise from SURFING the net. Silly girl :)
I have to admit sometimes I wish they would consider trying at least one sport. She prefers not to, she doesn't like to trigger her Jra to act up.
Shes a wonderful smart girl. We love her and that huge smile she has. :)

Happy, happy birthday to our two oldest. We are very proud of both of you and love you more then words can explain.

The big 1

This post is a little late but I was having issues with my laptop letting me post. So now that it has been fixed here it is.

                          Happy Birthday Rudy

My little man turned one last Saturday (As in almost a month ago). We had a little family only birthday party.
My mom cooked a delicious meal and we had cake and cupcakes.
I gave Rudy a cupcake he enjoyed making a mess.
I can't believe its been a whole year. He grew in a blink of an eye. He has made life a little more exciting.
I had forgotten what it was like to have a little baby. He is definitely our last. Hope the man above doesn't surprise us again.
Anyhow back to Rudy. He started walking around 10 months and know he is going full speed.
He loves his gma. Every time he sees her he just rushes over to her.
He loves gpa too, I have seen him trying to push his gpas wheelchair a few times. My dad just smiles.
He currently has 8 teeth. 6 on the top 2 on the bottom.
He eats everything and anything.
He loves to play with his brothers and sisters. He loves to rush at them when they are wrestling each other.
He has become a little more independent but still looks for us for security.
Rudy has been a blessing to our family and we all love him very much.

He sure does keep me busy. He wonders into things and loves to take out all the pots and pans. He wants to get into all the cabinets but access is limited. Thank god for childproof latches.
He is really a happy baby. He has scared us a few times but always manages to bounce back.
I love you Rudy,
Love Mom :)
